Ballet-Théâtre Sutton et Sylva Camerata présentent « Le Carnaval des animaux » et « Petra et le Loup »

Ballet Théâtre Sutton, en collaboration avec l’Orchestre de chambre Sylva Camerata, est fier de présenter un programme double vibrant comprenant « Le Carnaval des animaux » de Saint-Saëns et « Pierre et le Loup » de Prokofiev, adapté sous le titre « Petra et le Loup ».

Cette production dynamique et familiale mêle musique classique, danse et narration, réunissant un orchestre de chambre de 25 musiciens dirigé par Mathieu Gaudet et plus de 50 élèves de l’école des arts de la scène de Ballet-Théâtre Sutton. « Petra et le Loup » raconte les aventures d’une jeune fille courageuse et de ses amis animaux, chacun représenté par un instrument de l’orchestre. « Le Carnaval des animaux » complète le programme avec ses portraits colorés, lyriques et humoristiques du règne animal. Ensemble, ces œuvres bien-aimées offrent une introduction joyeuse à la musique orchestrale dans une présentation bilingue pour tous les âges.

Ballet Theatre Sutton and Sylva Camerata present Carnival of the Animals & Petra and the Wolf - with a 25-piece orchestra !

Ballet Théâtre Sutton, in collaboration with the Sylva Camerata Chamber Orchestra, is proud to present an enchanting double bill featuring Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals  and Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, adapted as Petra and the Wolf.

This vibrant, family-friendly production blends classical music, dance, and storytelling, bringing together a 25-piece chamber orchestra conducted by Mathieu Gaudet and more than 50 students from Ballet-Théâtre Sutton’s performing arts school. Petra and the Wolf tells the adventures of a brave young girl and her animal friends, each represented by an instrument of the orchestra. Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals completes the program with its colorful, lyrical, and humorous portraits of the animal kingdom. Together, these beloved works offer a joyful introduction to orchestral music in a bilingual presentation for all ages.
